The grand choir of the church began its first steps in 1989 at Holy Family. It has beautifully and solely animated masses of the church for a long period of time. Today the choir shares its role and goals with sister choirs of the institution, which makes the church, an exciting environment, rich in talents, a heaven of peace that allows its parishioners to remain accomplished throughout the day, after listening to a beautiful mass. These groups form an extended family where joy, love, support are prevailing and where God’s love is reflected.
By uniting different generations with the universal language of music and singing, Father Bellonce hopes to build a bridge that will create dialogue, as well as improved mutual understanding between members of all church groups. May this ministry continue to grow as members of the choirs spread the love of Christ through music!
Singing together in a choir is a powerful way to restore physical health, mental and emotional wellness, reduce stress and create connections between people that have been broken while carrying life’s burden and those who simply come to fulfill their baptism promise. Singing together is a holistic approach that feeds not only the body, but also the spirit. Come on and join!
